Here at Pure Alpaca Company, our products are made using only the finest quality alpaca fibres. A true treasure of Peru, the alpaca has adapted to living at high altitudes and temperatures as low as -25°C by evolving a fleece with unique thermal properties; its hollow fibre provides up to 30% more insulation than wool or cashmere, it has a beautifully soft texture whilst also being strong (it’s 7 times stronger than wool!) and comes in a range of natural colours.
